After their confrontation with Kevin Fong's eldritch corpse, our student detectives attempt to readjust to normal academic life. Maja hears out Jin's crazy proposition in the booth of the local Burger Kong, Rudy shakes down Pavel for an injection of cold, hard cash, and Saffron bears witness to a harrowing seance that threatens to uncover the true identity of Kevin Fong's killer.

The truth comes out... Saffron spirits a terrified Rudy away into the woods to confess to a murder he's not sure he committed. Our detectives put yesterday's murderous events behind them and return to a run-of-the-mill day of school: home room, alchemy class, and occult lore to name a few. But beneath the surface, Saito's plan to alienate Saffron from the Institute's student body has been set into motion while the art club informant is still at large. There's never a dull moment for our student investigators...

In this episode Maja teams up with Pavel to produce class-assessed sleeping potions of unusual potency, Saffron locates his place of elemental power, and Rudy rushes to undo terrible plans that he has set into motion. The sinister gaze of the Computer Appreciation Society has fallen upon Saffron Spiritcaller, and now the whole school is on red alert...

Saffron Spiritcaller has gone into hiding, fearful of being doxxed by the student body of the Ganymede Institute, and Rudy has promised him protection within the Art Club Forgery Syndicate. Maja has bigger problems: tonight is date night. The horrors of spending an evening with Bartholomew Xavier are almost comparable to the horrors she'll experience at her "Advanced Alchemy" meetup. Above all of this is the question of Kevin Fong. Who, or what is he now he has returned from the dead?

Maja's dinner date goes about as well as expected, but her meeting with the Advanced Alchemy Club does not. Unwittingly she is drawn into a gathering of shadowy forces conspiring against the residents of Ganymede Island. Meanwhile, Saffron and Rudy dabble in the Outer Scientific practice of accidentally bringing people back from the dead.

Saffron Spiritcaller is only kinda dead, so Rudy has stuffed Saffron's lifeless body into his locker in the Art Club. Together with Maja, and the assistance of the Computer Appreciation Society they're gonna dox Saffron back to life. But when the mole's identity is revealed during homeroom, plans to rez Saffron are delayed. Can Saffron attune to his new ghostly powers to save his skin, or will Neko claim yet another mouse?

Maja has uncovered the identity of the Art Club whistle-blower. It seems like Rudy's machinations have finally been stifled, but can the two work together long enough to raise Saffron from the dead? The ancient, evil cat spirit that devours souls is getting hungrier for Saffron's soul by the day. Together they'll penetrate the dark heart of the Computer Appreciation Society's internet cafe front: WonderLAN...

Rudy is dangerously close to indulging Neko's desire for more souls despite Maja and Saffron's protests. But how else will they fulfil their promise to the CAS? Our Investigators are now en route to rescue their Home Room teacher, Jabari Al Nadir, from Sunrise Produce's deprogramming facility: The Broom Closet.

Maja has retrieved Professor Al-Nadir's body from the cult, but with his memories removed through outer science, he might not even remember who they are, let alone the information they need. Saffron learns some new ways to use his spirit form, and Rudy turns up some clues about his missing hermit crab.
